Charissa Thompson

Thompson who resigned from FOX Sports for Yahoo Sports in 2010, also hosted Versus Sports. She was the host of Versus' NHL coverage in the studio and created video content for Yahoo's traffic-driven platform. Thompson led the website's presence during high-profile sporting events such as the 2010 Winter Olympics and FIFA World Cup. The success she achieved in both arenas resulted in her to be tapped by ESPN to be one of the hosts of the new afternoon program called "Numbers Never Lie," which premiered in August. In July 2012, she made the transition to the popular "SportsNation," enjoying a long-lasting and successful show that ran until she resigned from the network in order to be back in Los Angeles for the launch of FS1 in May 2013. Thompson is a passionate athlete, and she has shown the flexibility needed to make the transition from sports into entertainment. She was tapped as a co-host on"Extra," a Hollywood newspaper "Extra" beginning in the month of June of 2014 after several part-time jobs.
