Lisa Edelstein was an American actor who gained notoriety as the actress who starred in Fox's House medical series. Growing up in Wayne within a conservative Jewish customs, she emigrated in New York City at the age of eighteen to study theater at Tisch School of Arts. She was soon involved in club culture, causing enough fuss to draw the interest of the media. Then, she used her experiences and fame to write and compose a musical titled Positive Me in which she was a part of. Awake In the Wild Side was her next job. After the show ended her appearances began in television and film productions, initially in smaller roles. She gradually established herself as an actor.
