Meagan Good's mother Tyra was in her teens at the time she was employed at Panorama City as a manager as well as her father Leondis Leon Good, a policeman with the LAPD. Her acting career began at age four. Her family was from Canyon Country, California with three siblings. Early in her career, she appeared as an actor on TV shows like Doogie Howser Amen or M.D. The first film she acted in, "Friday", was released in 1995 as she was 13 years old. In the role of Cisely, the troubled teen from Eve's Bayou (1997) garnered her interest. In recognition of this, she received two nominations including her first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award Nomination. Good played small parts in TV and film shows over in the following years. At the start of 2000 her acting career began to take on roles that were more mature. Her role was as Nina on Cousin Skeeter, a Nickelodeon T.V. She appeared as Nina on Nickelodeon's T.V. show Cousin Skeeter from 1998 until 2001. The actress also had small roles in films House Party Down to the Last Minute and 3 Strikes. She played Vanessa Scott's role in the sitcom My Wife and Kids. She received nominations for Best Actress for the Black Movie Awards for 2005. Then she appeared in several other films, including Cookout one Missed call Waist Deep The Love Guru and You Got Serve. When she was active in 2012 she also appeared appearing on T.V. She was a part of Mya, a multi-star in Think Like a Man as well as the character Ms. Stevens for Dysfunctional friends. Kara Killmer...........................Kara Killmer is an American actress best known for portraying the character of Sylvie Brett in the NBC drama series 'Chicago Fire. Killmer was born in Texas, studied her studies at Baylor University Waco Texas where she graduated with the bachelor of fine arts. In 2010, she earned an art degree. The year 2010 marked the beginning of her screen career with If I Can Dream, a web series. After starring in numerous local plays Kara Killmer made her on-screen debut in 2010 in the pilot episode in Simon Fuller's Hulu series If I Can Dream. The show was based on the group of actors who begin residing in the house of Hollywood California.
