Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter, and musician from England. He was a member of One Direction. Harry Styles was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on February 1 1994. He's the son of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, where as well as three of his classmates, he founded his own band called White Eskimo. They were the winners of the Battle of Bands in 2009, thanks to their outstanding performances. Even though he's always expressed an interest in the music world however, despite his love in it, he also wanted to become a lawyer and an physiotherapist. In order to provide for the family he took a short time working part-time at a bakery. Harry Styles, in 2010 made an audition for The X Factor. His single Is not She Lovely was performed by Stevie Wonder. This is why his band broke up. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles to be a part of a new band called One Direction. The other members were Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in the year 2010. The band of five was backed by Simon Cowell. They performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You as well Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. They were one of the top contenders in the competition. They were however 3rd place, in the third place, behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. However, Harry Styles and his group were not crowned winners, Cowell agreed to pay 2 million pounds for One Direction to sign with Syco Records. Syco Record label.
