Anya Taylor-Joy

The birth of Anya Taylor-Joy took place on 16 April 1997 in Miami Florida. She is half English half Spanish. Parents are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. The father of her was Argentine who had Scottish as well as English ancestry. Her mother has Spanish as well as English heritage. Taylor-Joy, who is youngest of five children. Four of them come from her father's previous marriage. The family resided within Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy was 6 years old, after which they moved to the Victoria district of London. Taylor-Joy says that moving to London was traumatizing and she did not take the time to learn English to avoid moving back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the changed schools from Northlands. After that, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she studied dance and performed in plays. In her 16th year, she quit school to pursue a profession acting full-time. Taylor-Joy always wished to be an actor. When she was 16, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the chance to become a model.
